Drenched: 2009 World Waterski Championships

It's not every day that we're asked to create a subculture, but when Calgary played host to the 2009 World Waterski Championships we were tasked with doing just that. "Drenched" was a combination of the sport of waterski and rock' n roll culture; the two central elements which defined the 2009 Championships and the "Drenched" festival. In addition to creating the identity, advertising, website, social media, posters, and signage for the cultural event, we also created the subculture's language, events and happenings at the festival - trick names, names for different people, names for clothing and even names of event locations.
